- I am an artist and a retired art educator(9-12 public school). Since August of 2008 I started a new adventure. I have become completely hooked by learning to play fingerstyle guitar. My mentor is Richard Gilewitz whose expert guidance is serving me well. I have a patient and loving husband, John, who has latched onto playing mandolin while my obsession with guitar has developed. Therefore music is another thing we have to share. My family includes my daughter, son-in-law and a total of five grand kids, all of whom I love and who make me proud. I am a founding member and Vice President of Fire Arts, a non-profit studio and exhibition space for 3D artists in South Bend, IN. Since retiring in May of 2013 I have dedicated myself to developing my artistic career to a new level.
